Sahidica 3.0 is in the early planning stage, as of January 2007. Below are a few details.
For the Sahidic text, plans include a new collation of texts (including more editions I have obtained)
and a systematic notation of important variants (i.e. the beginnings of a critical apparatus).
For the Greek text, plans include notation on the Greek where the Sahidic witnesses are divided.
Also planned is an expansion of variant readings from NA and those in Metzger's textual
commentary on the GNT omitted from the apparatus in later editions of GNT and the 600 additional
variants Metzger documents therein.
For the Lexicon, more entries, more detail, and two tables documenting Sahidic spelling of common Greek words;
one table sorted on the Greek words and one table sorted on the Sahidic spelling.
A proposed new project is a basic Sahidic grammar with the working title
"A Sahidic Primer for Students of Greek" which focuses on similarities and differences between the two languages.
It is specifically intended for people who are familiar with, or learning, Koine Greek.
